Airline Returns Beloved Buzz Lightyear Toy To Owner With A Letter Detailing His Adventures
As kids, we always love a certain toy more than the rest of our toys. We want to bring it everywhere with us. It becomes like another appendage: Where we go, that toy has to go.
For me, it was my stuffed fox, which I cleverly named "Foxy." Eventually, I lost Foxy, and I never found him again. I like to imagine that someone else found him and loves him as much as I did.
This Is Hagen And His Super Cool Buzz Lightyear Doll
Buzz was hands down Hagen's favorite toy. He even had his name written on the bottom of Buzz's boot, just like in the Toy Story movies.
Hagen's dad had suddenly lost his uncle. Within 24 hours, his family had a flight booked, and they were on their way to Dallas, Texas. When they landed, Hagen's mom, Ashley, thought she had collected everything, but when they got to the rental car, Buzz was gone. Hagen was distraught.
All Hope Was Lost Until Hagen's Mom Got An Email
The email was from a man named Jason, who worked out of Southwest Airlines airport in Little Rock. He had found Hagen's toy and wanted to make sure that Buzz got home safely.
This was exciting news! But it was even more exciting when an adorable package arrived. It had quotes from the Toy Story movies along with a hand-drawn picture of Buzz himself.
Inside The Package, There Was Also A Letter
Jason had decided that he wanted Hagen to think that his Buzz Lightyear toy had been on a huge adventure, so he wrote a letter.
In the letter, Buzz explains that he had to go off and complete a vital mission. That's why he was missing for a while, but he had completed his mission and was glad to be home.
There Were Also A Handful Of Pictures With The Letter
Along with the letter, there were also a bunch of pictures of Buzz around the airport. There were some of him standing in front of the planes, too.
The pictures are so cute, and they delighted Hagen. He loved the idea that his favorite toy had just been off saving the world.
To Infinity And Beyond...And Then Back Home
Hagen was happy to have his best bud back. The first thing Hagen and Buzz did after Buzz returned home was to watch Saturday morning cartoons.
It's adorable that Jason and Southwest Airlines in Little Rock took such great care returning Buzz to Hagen and his family. I'm sure it will become one of Hagen's most cherished memories.
