Teenage Romance
You've never faced struggle if you've never had to do this from a flip phone. Teenage romance during the era of cellphones without keyboards was a real mess. Imagine if this person texted back.

Ripping And Folding It Into Caterpillars
Back in the day, there was a lot of manual labor involved with these dot matrix printer papers. You had to rip the edges before folding them into caterpillars, which isn't that fun.

Old Mouses Were The Worst
We're blessed to have mice with lasers in them, but it wasn't like that a while ago. You would have to use the ball from an overcooked, hard-boiled egg to get the mouse rolling again. Or at least it felt like it...

Dial-Up Was The Worst

Honestly, I'd pay to have this time capsule. These are four great soundtracks with lots of variety. You have your inspirational music with Space Jam, good vibes with All That, and even some No Doubt.
Carrying A Ton Of Movies To A Friend's House
Thank goodness for streaming! Who wanted to carry around all these DVDs for any longer? Even if you weren't taking them with you, they'd still take up plenty of space.
Now, Our Phones Do All Of This
The crazy thing about this photo is that our smartphones can do whatever these ancient products tried. Take pictures, play music, and make phone calls. That's all you really need.
Attempting To Stretch The Phone Cord...
If you had a good conversation on one of these phones, there was no way you stayed in one room. Trying to reach it somewhere came with the territory of owning it.

When you owned an iPod Shuffle, you had to wait for the song you wanted, instead of selecting it at will. Unless you made the ultimate playlist, that's no fun.

The Nintendo Game Boy Advanced was revolutionary for handheld gaming because it came with a backlight that the previous version didn't have. Playing Pokémon in the middle of the night was never the same.

AIM and Myspace were arguably the greatest social forums to use before Facebook arrived on the scene. Logging on and seeing all those notifications filled you with joy. These were much simpler times.
Time For A Class Movie

The overhead projector was one of the primary ways to relay information to students in class. It used transparent sheets with the print on it as the light hit and projected what we wanted to see. A true classic device.
