Daughter’s Spirit Has Mother Believing Her Little Girl Is Doing “God’s Work” From Beyond
“No parent should have to bury their child” is a heart-breaking saying. Unfortunately, death comes in many forms and at the most unexpected times.
And afterward, some look for signs that their lost one’s spirit is with them - like this mom who didn’t need to look far to know her daughter’s spirit is with her.
Princess Faviola Rodriguez
One day, Saundra Gonzales left her two-year-old daughter, Faviola Rodriguez, in the care of her boyfriend.
Sadly, that would be the last time Saundra saw her little princess because Faviola died.
"In Loving Memory"
Faviola now rests in a Masonic Cemetery in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
On her tombstone, the quote: “In loving memory of our little princess. Forever in our hearts Faviola Nova Rodriguez.”
A Grave Fit For A Princess
Sunflowers, daisies, and pink and purple roses - with the addition of a few of her toys and a lantern, adorn and hug Faviola’s grave.
A truly beautiful grave sight for a princess.
Cemetery Issues
Unfortunately, an issue with cemeteries is that people sometimes vandalize graves.
No, Faviola’s grave was not vandalized or ruined, but another grave was, and this is where the story takes a supernatural turn.
James Bustamante's Grave
Another child, by the name of James Bustamante, has a grave in the same cemetery as Faviola's.
James' grave is adorned with flowers and a lantern that lights up automatically when the sun begins to set.
James' Parents Set Up A Video Camera
Unfortunately, James' beautiful grave has been vandalized on several different occasions.
So his grieving parents put up a video camera in hopes of catching the vandals and stopping future vandalizing.
The Camera Footage
So one night, while James’ parents looked at their camera footage, they noticed something interesting.
A little girl was kneeling at their son’s grave. Confused and intrigued by this, James’ parents take the footage to the cemetery workers.
"We Know That Little Girl"
“We know that little girl.” said the cemetery workers.
To them, the girl in the video looked like Faviola, looking roughly around the same age and with all the same features.
James' Mom Describes The Footage
James’ mother, Reina Rodriguez, described the footage,
“The girl just came straight to his grave and kneeled down, and it seemed like she was talking - we’re not sure, it was just photos. She just looked one other time and walked back into the corner.”
Reina Waited For Saundra
Reina now knew where the grave of the little girl was.
So she waited until Saundra came to see her princess and approached her with the footage of her son’s grave.
Saundra Broke Down Into Tears
“I have something really beautiful to show you that my video camera captured,” Reina said to Saundra as she showed her the footage.
Saundra immediately burst into tears because she could see her daughter in the footage.
"I Know That's My Daughter"
“I know that is my daughter,” Saundra said through her tears.
Seeing Faviola at James’ grave showed Saundra that her daughter was doing God’s work, and her mission was to take James to Heaven.
"She Was There To Take Him To Heaven"
“I think she was there to take him to heaven,” Saundra said,
“I guess that was like, our sight that she’s still here with us. And that she’s doing God’s work.”
"She's On A Mission From God"
Saundra continued,
“To me, I believe she made herself seen because she’s on a mission right now to be heard; everything that’s going on with the trial… I believe she’s trying to do what’s right.”
